Freelance & Agency Copywriting
Below are various copy pieces I’ve done as a freelancer. Company names have been purposefully left out for confidentiality, and I’m unable to provide source links. I’ve included a variety of industries, with a focus on long-form content to illustrate diverse writing styles and approaches depending on the business and purpose of the piece. Each one, though, follows SEO practices and has readability and structure in mind.
INDUSTRY: MOBILITY BATHROOMS
This is a simple long-form blog article written in a clear and structured way. However, it is on a slightly sensitive topic—balancing safety considerations for elderly and disabled individuals. The company has a strong selling point of creating stylish and modern bathrooms with safety upgrades.
The first line strategically promotes the company with an internal link to the homepage, optimising the article for Google crawls and improving site authority.
The tone is informative yet reassuring, making technical details accessible while maintaining empathy for the reader. The use of bullet points, subheadings, and a logical flow ensures readability and engagement.
INDUSTRY: HVAC, ELECTRIC & PLUMBING
The tone is friendly and instructional, making important safety information easy to understand. Structured with bullet points and ‘Pro Tip’ sections, the article keeps the content well-organized and reader-friendly. The writing balances technical accuracy with a conversational style, making it ideal for home improvement and lifestyle audiences.
INDUSTRY: HOME CONTRACTING AND CONSTRUCTION
INDUSTRY: COSMETIC TREATMENT & HEALTH
I’ve used up-to-date statistics and reliable sources to create an informative and authoritative piece on driver behavior and pedestrian safety. The inclusion of relevant data not only adds credibility but also boosts SEO by integrating high-ranking keywords and supporting the content with factual, well-researched details.
These USPs show clear, persuasive, and relatable information for any quick site visit. I’ve focused on highlighting the practical benefits (like saving money and improving energy efficiency) and the lifestyle perks (such as better health and more living space). The tone is straightforward and friendly, making the message feel approachable and engaging.
Further examples of internal linking with specific treatment plans and products. The topic provided an in-road to basic skin maintenance and unique services the client had on offer.
INDUSTRY: PERSONAL INJURY LAW (US)
As a company that provides plumbing, electric and AC work in the US, finding fun and interesting topics for the blog was a top priority. This example shows some seasonal content around house decorating with internal and external lights.
This provided the opportunity to go into technical details about electrical work, gently pushing the reader to check with an electrician in case they had any queries.
Regardless, the topic was lighthearted and through competitor and keyword research proved to get clicks and ultimately boost the client’s ranking on Google.
This is some web copy I did for a company that does cost-saving home installations that reduce energy use. The tone had to be from the perspective of experts as well as promoting sustainability but ultimately lowering bills. It had to be shown as a smooth upgrade to push homeowners and landlords over the finish line if they were tempted to upgrade.
This piece showcases my ability to write persuasive and SEO-optimised content for the cosmetic procedure industry. By integrating targeted keywords like ‘skin rejuvenating treatments’ and ‘natural ingredients in skincare,’ I help increase search visibility while also appealing to potential clients. As there was high search volume for ‘K-Fashion’ it presented an opportunity to link the topic to the client’s range of skincare products and botox treatments.
At the top, you can see the CTA for better internal linking.
Some topics required writing with care and in a non-judgmental tone. In the health and wellness space, especially when discussing steroid use, it’s essential to provide clear, factual information while avoiding stigma. I made sure all medical content was thoroughly researched and properly referenced, ensuring accuracy. The tone is supportive and informative, with links to services for those seeking help or guidance, making the piece both educational and empathetic.
Equally, personal injury law requires the same degree of due diligence. This blog piece balances technical legal terminology with accessible language to ensure that readers, regardless of their legal background, can understand the topic. I’ve also made sure to thoroughly research and properly reference the legal aspects, providing precise details about Georgia law.
In this long-form blog, I included historical personal injury cases related to defective manufacturing, which not only added valuable context but increased the significance of these types of cases.
By referencing these high-profile cases, the piece became more authoritative, providing readers with real-world examples that brought the topic to life. This approach also improves SEO, as it targets long-tail keywords and increases the content’s relevance to search engines. It’s a great way to both educate readers and improve visibility online while showcasing the firm’s expertise in personal injury law.
